Here's an overnight render of my freaky complex 3d procedural material I made yesterday.
I've decided to name it 'Voronite[TM]'
it uses a complex mix of various types of procedural 3d textures most of which are variations of voronoi noise mapped to wood like channels and mixed together.
I've mapped the same channels to the specular channel with opposite colours (very bright) which gives an interesting reflection effect, a little bit like thin film interference.
It also has a voronoi crackle modulated bumpmap.
Since this material is 3D it can be used 'plug and play' on all objects without mapping or textures or whatever, so i'll include it as a preset in luxblend once the spec is final (v0.5 release i think)
