What happens with your CPU when LuxRender gets used.

Thanks. No, my part of work is accomplished. An illustrator will do some more tweaks to get the final product, but those will be minor changes and additions.

Btw, as I retain full rights on my works (except agree to not use them in competing products :P ), Lux project may use this one as it sees fit. :) Or do you think it's worth it to submit it to the PBRT contest?

How did you model the rotating fan?

You mean how the blurred rotation was made? It's just a motion blur (Lux supports it, did you know? :)), nothing fancy. Set frame 1, set the key position for your objects with the "I" key, go to frame 2, move/rotate your objects and set them a new key position. Then return back to frame 1, activate Motion Blur in LuxBlend (Cam/Env tab) and render.

Btw, does anybody know gaussian sampling works or what? I'm able to get a MB effect with uniform sampling only.

Gaussian sampling is currently not implemented (there's a mantis task for it). I've implemented it but haven't pushed the changes as it was right before 0.6 release. I'll try to tidy up the code a bit and then push it.
