Hi Dade,
Do you plan to support other types of texture mapping than UV? Like window mapping or parametric?

No, you can not have a binary referencing OpenCL v2.x symbols and running with an OpenCL v1.2 ICD.

really thank for the reply !

This mean that if we want to force things we will need a seperate build for opencl 2.0 and will be hard to the DEV's team to work on two seperate build .sad :?
do it with ocl 1.2 will mean 10² mountain of work for the so little team we have :(

in the other side if we decide to wait for Nvidia update this can happen tomorrow or 2 years later or never as they already have cuda politics and lot of app support .(maybe the reason why otoy decide to convert Cuda based app with they own compiler instead of create full opencl 2.0 version of octane).

http://www.bit-tech.net/news/hardware/2016/03/11/otoy-cuda-compiler/1

is there any alternative ?

Thank a lot for your answer ! ;)

LuxCore uses an importance map resolution equal to the resolution of the HDR image (i.e. the best possible map).
