oops! thirth place, this is what I really don't expect because of the quality of all render here. thank you for encouraging me such a way...

and congrat to everyone....

finally, if you don't mind, I just want to pass my prize to someone who really needs it.
As i am architect and running an office only with sketchup and autocad, I don't plan integrate blender to our workflow in a near future... So I'm sure there are people who needs these books more than me... having thirth place is more than enough for me.

thanks again...

An interesting proposition, I would love a blender book, but my entries weren't even close. ;) 5th place was jester98741 with 22 votes. At this point the decision is up to Aaron Solo, do you want the $20 credit at blenderrenders.com, or the book? Which ever you do not choose passes to jester98741.

Congratulations to everybody for this wonderful contest! I was pleasantly surprised to see that 5 people voted for my entry. I wasn't expecting a single vote... well sort of :D Can't wait for the next one!

Binary, i think we should change the title image for the competition to the winner's work.

Sorry, I've been busy. Life gets in the way some times. As per usual, the winner gets the highlight of the competition itself and the competitions gallery.

You should have gotten an email from me that was addressed to you and the sponsor.

Does anyone have any objection to me rolling over the 3rd place prize to the new competition? Provided the sponsor approves that is.

Since nobody has objected, I am going to guess that silence implies consent. The sponsor has agreed to rolling the prize over to the "Poetry in Motion" competition, so we will roll the prize over to "Poetry in Motion".
