Hi,

Regarding this and upcoming competitions, what about we set up a "Competitions" album in the gallery with would hold an album per competition? This would allow people to easily submit their works and rate the submissions.
We would prevent new uploads at the end of the competition and prevent vote updates once the polling is over (I've not checked this is possible).

As I watch my probable entry carbonflux up to 10k, do we just post them up here or has there been another designated place settled... such as the gallery as suggested?

For right now, just post it here. I don't have any kind of admin rights for the gallery...yet. I will try to get that setup for the next competition.

To answer another question, in case anyone is asking, once the deadline has passed i will setup a poll for voting. That way "all who pass through these doors" will be able to vote for the winner.

I think we need a thread just for entires without comment. I can't decide if I should post here or make a finished work entry and post a link there. This is the first comp of course so I don't expect it to be unconfused.

Heh, still fluxing right now, 15K s/p, not finished yet.

Hi,

I've set up a new album where you can directly upload your entries. It's in "Contests" then "LuxRender Fire&Ice 2010".
The uploading will be locked once the submission period is over and the rating will be locked once the contest is over.

Ok, deadlines approaching. Corners need to be cut.

If I render at a high res, is it acceptable to submit a scaled down version (to reduce the noise), or would people prefer if I just render at a lower res?
