Why do you say it's ark blue? it appears black in the preview. If it's dark blue in a render and you use a sky, this might be due to the second point above.

Jeanphi, why glossy instead of the new glossy_lossy? What are the differences? And, if glossy is better then why add glossy_lossy?

Hi,

glossy_lossy is the old glossy material, it has been kept for comparison purposes and in case someone really happen to rely on the old behaviour. glossy is the new model and we might keep only this one in future releases.

I was under the impression that glossy_lossy was the new material. Turns out I misread the forum postings about it. Damn, now I have to re-render everything ;) Thanks for clearing that up Jeanphi.

So far...my best shot :-) Although I am still not happy with the chrome. But at least I can show my friend how his tank wil look like. Thanks for your help!
