Bidir GPU Opencl

Postby sharlybg » Sun Dec 20, 2015 7:22 pm

Hi everyone ! just a few question. From here we are going on exicting futur for rendering and CG quality ! there're lot of change since last five years outside and inside (luxrender).GPU rendering is becoming a more serious contender to old cpus base engine and GPUs are becoming themselves more more powerfull efficient and we are waiting more from upcoming 14nm range both from NvIDia and AMD (huge & faster memory capabilities). There are also change in the air from renderer vendor:

- Octane 3.0 will be Opencl

- indigo renderer 4.0 will 've full gpu rendering

- Cycles go for micro kernel and opencl

And some team that neglected GPU in the past start to change they approach ! consider this battle on corona forum with a great CGi artist juraj talcik !

but each time the weakness of GPU come to be indoor and caustics light scenario !
BUT here at lux we are for sure the most advanced in this battle (GPU rendering ) Thanks our DEVS ;) !
But again as we're going to luxcore 2.0 is it planned to integrate something like this :
