Hej, just a preview of the material. This is only photoshop for now. If youhave suggetion throw now.

The extra export map option is because if you use a special type of map, for example color correction , and in it a bitmap then we will have to export with proportion/resolution wise. Otherwise the exported map and even bitmap will be square, and in some cases it will distort.

good! selectable materials from dropdown menu!

do you want to add a Luxrender banner to the material? I have one designed for the badges request.

Hej Thank, but I got one in and it is already turned into a maxscript color array :d

I see such a script in the past, can't remember where.... able to convert an image into an *.ms...
can't remember the name and if I downloaded it :lol:

if it is easy it would be perfect to add a preview of the textures (by taking also into account the tiling option set) as in luxblend.
but that maybe should be done inside the texture tab.
Also in the previous versions i could change the tiling option of a texture but unfortunately i couldnt preview the changes in 3ds max viewport.but thats another request.

Anyway thanks for your hard work. :D

EDIT.Also you could add the shape of the preview,for example cube plane sphere etc.
If you want i could prepare for you some ready simple scenes for planes,fabric etc like the ones in fryrender material editor options!
Check it out.I think that if we could implement this would be great!

Personally I've never missed the "tiling" option in the imagemap, I just use it as I always do with mentalray and other renderers,
by applying the standard uvmaps in 3dsmax..

yep! .... and if Losbellos agree with please also take into account a chamferbox just for me ;)

agree with you.... about the tilling... the uvmap modifier works great!

edit... I thought that moure request have more to do, for example - with propotion - bump and tilling in the preview

@moure,
thought that Losbellos will use the standard bitmap to texture a material... like he did for SLG.... the used texture will exported to the same path where the exported scene is stored. :?:

hep i wasn refering on the uv fact itself but to have an idea of the proportions of the texture image according to the scene.
for example floor tiles on a plane.Also in multi materials using different tile values in different textures is necessary to achieve the results you want.For example dirt maps on the wall.
