any news about perpixel code solution?

I saw the topic about the new velvet material... are you working to add it soon?

I also try the latest weekly builds with first integration of smallLux gpu code.... it's really faster than luxrender 0.7

He's looking at it now, I sent latest code earlier today.

I saw the topic about the new velvet material... are you working to add it soon?
It's very quick to add this material - so this one will be in next release.

I also try the latest weekly builds with first integration of smallLux gpu code.... it's really faster than luxrender 0.7

The velvet material and the new multibounce glossy option will both be available in v0.7.1

That's really great news, thanks for testing, you can report benchmark results in the GPU forum or the architecture and design forum if you want, it could be quite interesting to follow even at this early stage of the integration.

is the release date just fixed?
I ask because I have to make all the new icons for LuxRender optimized like Lord request.

will the new material also added to the up comings weekly builds?

I always test the new weekly builds... but in the last time the geometry issue in LuxMax make it impossible, about 90% of the geometry were displayed black with the weekly builds.

thank to you and the whole team for the good job.. and please remember from time to time to add a feature from the one to find in the feature request thread.... for example by fixing the attitude of Luxrender to flip the environment map :)

Do you say that there's a luxrender version with GPU code in it? (if so, which one? (link)) :)

but it doesn't use gpu at time... but it's just more faster... try and report

I'd like to do it by the end of the month.

They are already available in the latest weeklies I think.

Sure, but it's easier to add feature when the core is stable rather than when we're rewriting half the files :) I think it's just starting to stabilize, but we might still see a few major changes before v0.8

what can I say.... thank you both for the fast bug fix...and thank you for participating to the material issue topic :)

I will test it as soon as I can....

I'm starting a few days trip in few hours... hope some one can enjoy and report in the mean time.
