there was a "delegate" function missing in most of them, I have now set it so that when a diffusemap is applied it delegates it as the material bitmap.
(get the latest, replace script, then assign for example a matte material with a lr_imagemap in the diffuse slot).

i installed the new script but i get an error when i try to create a new lr material, max 2013 crash

for example it show an error at line of LuxMax_glossy.ms
273 mkaTexture.enabled = museabsorption.state

---------------------------
MAXScript Rollout Handler Exception

-- Unknown system exception

OK

after closing the popup error max crash and with lrmatte too

Edited:
i'm using the old script again, they has the same behavior as the new one.
open an existing luxrender max scene, creating new materials work nicely smooth less, the material, the texture in viewport is only showed if you create a new lr material and add the lr-texture.
while the trasparency of the glass in viewport isn't showed, also by replacing the material with a new glass material.

hi Stig,
the transparency is displayed in viewport correctly... sorry i didn't notice that because it works only with the editale poly and editale mesh. i'm using only the nurbs surfaces and it doesn't work on them.
i think the behavior can be corrected once Perpixel is back and write a new geometry export plugin for max 2013.
