Hi, i posted a new Blender build in viewtopic.php?f=30&t=3344#p29935

I solved the crash on 10.6 while preserving multithreaded physics now ( gcc-4.6.1/OpenMP )
Pls check this build too if this has any sideeffects ( shouldn´t ).

Build works for static modelling. Luxrender is functional, material preview as well. But Blender crashes whenever i try to change the animation frame. Don't know if this is related to the things you are working on.

Jup, you´re right, new build up that fixes this crash ( sigh ).

The workaround is to use both libstdc++ from gcc 4.6 and apple atm, but there must be an issue
in blender compile environment that causes this. Final fix should be in Blender 2.62 release.

Yep, this one works like a charm. I'm trying to use it in production as soon as i'm back to work, so there should be further infos about stability soon. For now i'm off to the mountains.

Thank you,Jens!
