Hm. I get exactly the same error messages as I described here :|
(I'm now on Ubuntu 11.10 64bit, but that doesn't seem to make a difference).

I am also on Ubuntu 11.10 64bit.
I installed boost directly from the repo (boost 1.46). My build work by me. You can try a build without any argument (comment the line with -O2, etc).
This don't work also with luxconsole, etc ?

I'll rebuild now, I'm curious if it works this time (LordCrc gave me some tips yesterday, now I'll try to use them).

I didn't check it with your build, but with my builds luxconsole, pylux etc. worked, "only" luxrender was broken.

See here for an example. There are some platform-specific though, you should remove -march, -mabm and -msse4a.

LadeHeria wrote:Do you use GCC or Intel Compiler ?

GCC only. Don't use ICC unless your are absolutely confident it won't introduce some nasty errors to the rendering process due to its aggressive optimizations (there was some in the past leading to abandoning ICC builds).

Better stick to 1.43 until we're officially switched to a more recent version. Otherwise your builds will be incompatible with others in network rendering.

Tanks for the flags, luxrender run now 8% faster.
Boost1.43 is a little harder to install, it works now and i don't want to destroy my build environment..
I will use official build for network rendering.
And why not provide a build here every week.

Ok, I know why pylux don't works by me. It's I think because it's compile with python 2.7. But haw to compile it with python 3.2 ?
There is no mention in CmakeList.

EDIT : Ok, problably found the issue. libboost 1.46 isn't compiled with pyhton3.2.
SATtva : can you please send me your boost1.43 compilation (for a 64 bit system) in an archive ?
