Hi folks.

Iám hardly busy with other work nowadays.
Lemme first have the Lux 0.7.1 out, then compile a new bundle with Blender/dynamic_paint +++ and test, then publish.

This may last until next weekend when iám done with my actual business.

So a bit patience pls ;)

Jens: Whenever you're ready for another all-in-one package,
please use a "Render branch" version of Blender!

I just tried this one: http://www.graphicall.org/builds/builds ... ow&id=1585
and the internal renderer is MUCH better than other recent ones;
not up there with LuxRender, but it does understand all the options.
(With your Sept 11th package, I can only get a few lighting options to work.)

So it would be stupendous if one could model
and test-render with a "Render branch" Blender,
and then pass all the render settings to Lux
(never mind if it takes a hundredfold longer).

[I'm doing glassware with polished metal and plasma inside.]

P.S. Crash crash when I tried in various ways
:? to hybridize your build with the Render branch!

Which goes to show that Sunday artists (like yours truly)
need Jens Verwiebe to make the pieces all sing in harmony!

Hehe :P

There are some things again changed in Blender 2.5.x, so the newest components are needed + locations are now somewhat changed as well.
I´ll take a look soon. I have all newest running fine here atm, so should be no problem...

Bless you!

Any chance you might pool your Lux efforts with your Yaf efforts
and produce one Grand Mega-package??

P.P.S. In a don't-you-dare-touch-that! situation,
I suddenly have a BF 2.49b Blender
--plenty good enough for modeling, thank you--
that can render with YafaRay 0.1.2 and LuxRender 0.8, interfaces all operative!

How :o is that even possible?? [Don't answer that.]

Boy, this coming weekend looks to be glorious!

Just a note:

The exporterframework is now part of Blendermodules ! No more needed as seperate install.
+ We are preparing LuxBlend25 as part of the official addon- downloads for Blender.
Also the pylux's for most OS are now ready and will be installed automatically to the Bundle when getting LB25.( matched to OS )

For OSX i managed to compile pylux to run with any official Blender ( up from a certain revision ) by linking it to Blender libs.
This means you won´t need Python3.1 framework anymore and makes Blender complete dependencyless.

This makes my special builds obsole then, cause you can install LB25 into any Blender2.5 you get, also branches ( up from a certain revision )

Stay tuned

Thanks a lot jensverwiebe for this new bundle release!
I'm very happy to play with pylux, materials preview and all new features, i'm missing only "glossy translucence" but i don't complain at all.

I'm grateful for your work. Thanks again.
