"p"-Key has never worked for me in SLG, so instead I use SLG's file-menu to save the rendered image. Other workaround could be using the clipboard. Be aware if help-instructions are visible at saving-time, they will also appear in the saved image.

asterix7 wrote:Hi all,

First post as newbie in this field of Blender/Rendering, but hoping to learn fast. Blender and LuxRender Forums will surely put a turbo on that process. Big Thanks You to all for that.
Have been testing (trying to run) Blender and LuxRender/SLG on MAC OS X10.6.6
Runs OK on MacPro 2008 17' with NVidia Processor (GT 8600M ?), Runs very OK on 27' iMac Quad Core i5 with ATI Radeon.
Just got brand new MBPro 15' 2.3 Ghz Sandy Bridge i7 with 8G Ram and AMD HD Radeon 6750 w 1G VRam.
Loaded the same Blender/LuxRender 10Feb package. Runs OK to render basic cube, but crashes completely (not even Force Quit access) when pushing 'p' to print result back to Blender. Not pushing 'p' but just 'ESC' brings back Blender normally.
Do I need to provide more precise info, and is there a form to provide this feedback ?

'p' only works in terminal_mode.
In Blender use "periodic_save interval" and set "wait" for readback image into blender.
Dunno about newest MacBooks now, did not have handson some of these.

Be sure to check the gpu-forum for more help, as slg is only a testapp, i won´t do any deep support for it any longer as GPU-render comes to LuxRender now.

Ah..., jep without any precise info, i can hint nothing. To analyse any problem, logs are needed, just an " it crashes" says nothing to me, sorry ;)

Sorry, but doesn't work.
LuxRender crashes immediatly after opening GUI.
See attached crashlog and scenefiles.

can´t test, you missed the lxs, can you better put it all in one zip ?

Is pylux working ? ( internal render ? ), cause we have new stiuff in exporter, may not work with older GUI.app.
i will upload newer LuxRender soon too.

Oops, sorry for missing lxs.
I think pylux is working as Material Preview works fine - also does internal Rendering.
