It's scheduled for Lux 0.8, but there is no guarantee it won't be postponed for the upcoming version as GPU support has been given full priority.

@Tomb, the new velvet material is looking amazing... thank you for your effort.

btw, I'm not a exporter developer... but I have a small request for the up coming 0.8 version.
as max user we have a normal issue... viewtopic.php?f=36&t=4534&start=40#p48307
that at time can't be fixed in a simple way... the solution is not applicable to imported mesh (face selection is to complex).
a blender user say to have the same problem... and he have to use the same technique used from max user.. the use of different smoothing group on the same mesh. see post viewtopic.php?f=36&t=4534&start=40#p48310

my request is: what do you think about to add a simple 2-sided function to all material? or a similar solution.....

this function could help a lot of people, like me, to use whit out problem and limitation Luxrender.
all faces will be rendered correctly shaded even if it does not solve the normal issue.

ugosantana post a more complex related feature request see post: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=4373&start=10#p45554
to me it seams more interesting than my.... but as user mine is just a though.

anyway thank you

Hi,

Patro, no need to cross post your requests, just make them once in the correct forum, every time you cross post, we have to answer each post. I've answered you regarding the 2 sided stuff, it won't fix anything and is already the way Lux works.
