I'm glad to share with all my latest and final icons release for LuxRender and SmallLuxGpu
as always no one asked for.... it's my personal project and contribution to LuxRender.
the topic is a poll.... because:
- I want to know if you really like them, which version is the most downloaded and so on.
comments are welcome.
- this could help Lord to chose the preferred collections to pack into Luxrender 0.8 version
I retouched all icons more then once before to release it. for this porpoise LordCrc and J the Ninja were kind to help and test them.
I made them cleaner than the old ones, by maintaining the same aspect.
I realized more than a version, some are to complex so it's better to visualize at a minimum of 48X48, other are very simple and linear.
user are free to replace the existing one in LuxRender(installer version) folder, or in other ways.
all icons are optimized to be viewed as 16X16-24X24. now all have support for vista 256X256.
win supported sizes are: 16X16, 24X24, 32X32, 48X48, 64X64, 72X72, 96X96, 128X128, 256X256 all RGBA
when win will support 512X512 sized icons.. I will add the format.
I realized versions for MAC user, 16X16 and 512X512 are included.

I got the info about icons dimensions from the Microsoft and Apple sites.
btw... I know that MAC user have just a proper icons version, designed and packed by Jens, but I want to give Mac user the same service like WIN and LINUX user
the *engrave* and *simple* models.... most probably are the once that match with the MAC design.
due the large number of icons and versions and the increased size due the new comer 256 and 512... the icons are subdivided in packs.
each pack contain the normal and the alpha version. all packs can be downloaded through by clicking on MAC, PNG, WIN.
I subdivided the icons in collection that have a similar aspect... but hey if you like to combine different icons from different packs... just download what you need
the icons are made with gimp and icoFX... I used the official LuxRender font type and the official LuxRender Logo.
some icons are based on renders made by pxl666, t0m0, Hedphelym, LordCrc, Dade and the splash screen *soap* from Xray.
each collection pack include snow, stealth, snow alpha and stealth alpha.
IMPORTANT:
The alpha type means that the black or white color is missing on the sheet.... this make the icon transparent... this type is better to be used at a minimum of 64X64. which to chose to use - stealth alpha & snow alpha - depends from the color and style of your window and desktop background!
