I put together a short tutorial page on how to use Luminance to handle tone mapping instead of doing it in Lux. You can find the guide here:

Thank you J, very useful material! I didn't used Luminance that much for tonemapping per se, mostly for mapping transformations. Now i'm going to experiment with some of its advanced algorithms.
