Good stuff :D

The scene file docs is a little bit dated, especially the film part. I'll update that today. ;)

I'm trying to get some more XSI people to use it. The material stuff is a bit tricky. XSI Shaders can get very complex so people have to rebuild them to use the exporter. But perhaps I'll find someone who will do that work (or send me the scene and i will do it).

I've started to create one testfile

but I'm not very far with that yet :) I'm rebuilding on of the images of the indigo gallery.

Looking forward to it Ratow :) I used the film source file to find some more details (e.g. how to write a tga file :) ).

Hi miga,

I sugges that once you have finished your current updates/fixed/modernization to current advancements to lux compatibility of the exporter,
you send me a PM or let me know via a post, and i will send you some informations regarding 'popularization'. (i've some experience with this :) )

I tried something different ;)

Not all yet (and texture slots are not working).
If you want more control over the exported shader you can now use Luxrender Shader Nodes in XSI (they don't show up in the viewport)

Edit:

more shader

Hey,

Looks very nice :)

Starting to look more and more like luxblend.
I think it would be good if you try to follow luxblend's system as closeley as possible,
to make things more intuitive for new users and providing support...

a note: it's 'cauchy' not 'couchy' :)

Thanks. I will have a look at the blender structure and change my tab structure a bit. I think you're right to keep it similar.

Yeah...was wondering about the error message that 'couchy' wasn't supported and fixed it ;)
