Blender undo crash

I'll see if I can get blender compiled myself with debug info so I can provide some more detailed messages to Brecht.

I did get some juicy debug stuff and Brecht came up with a patch fairly quick, I've tested it and definitely improves the situation here, I haven't managed to crash it yet at least. He said he'll commit it tomorrow.

Apparently there will be a Blender 2.63a out soon, do you have any idea if this fix will be included? Is there a report in the Blender bug tracker? I'd of course very much like to see this fix in some official release.

Fixed in revision 46437, however it won't be in 2.63a, Brecht felt the fix was too risky and needed more testing. Grab a GA build and give it a spin
