Physically correct vase

Postby B.Y.O.B. » Sat Apr 28, 2012 7:07 am

Very little project...

The first render is done using SLG2 devel5 (40min on a GTX 460), the second one is made with LuxRender (big image: about 2kS/p in ca. 4h).
I uploaded the model to blendswap.com (the version with the LuxRender materials).

Are those bubbles in the filled vase?

Yes, those are particles (one instanced bubble). You'll have to wait until Blendswap is up again, then you can download the .blend.

Brilliant work BYOB!

The bubbles add the extra realism that makes this a top notch render
