Thanks for the feedback, though perhaps I should impart some of the history of the building to explain the reasoning behind the many stages of brick colour.
The sudden change in brick is what I am aiming for; the drawings show that each generation has added a new floor or an extension to the house.
There are a number of changes indicated through the various drawings. As I've attempted to show in my model the second drawing in the file, is the construction of the third floor some 40 years after the first 2 floors of the original building (the part on the far right) was constructed, this was the same time that they build the new entrance ans part of the first extension.
The second and third extensions are the parts just behind that.
The 4th extension is the balcony, utility room (the lean-to) and the conservatory.
It's this history of the building that I am trying to capture, I will soften the edges between generations a little by the use of plants and vines, but I want it to remain visible even if just a little.
