the image is only rendered to about 300spp because if Im going to alter it I dont want to waste too much time rendering it up to high quality

I like the modeling on the wings and chain weapon a lot and I like the the figure on one level when I zoom in on it but at a glance the figure seems to rigid, I think the cave texture might be a problem also, maybe try it in the air? adding some kind of gesture to the figure maybe? The main thing I get is how the figure does not really seem to be connected to the wings. I do like the overall idea tho. Interesting problem, the wings being so big. you could try a different aspect ration, a very wide image and change how the chain works so we can see more of the figure itself?

Hello Inlite,
i have some ideas that maybe could help you out :)

1.First of all i would change the camera angle and the warriors pose. Cause atm it seems kinda frozen, more than a statue. So maybe a more dynamic camera angle and a striking pose. something like the image bellow

2.Secondly about the figure, to hide the skin you could add some armor plates :)

3.Maybe some motion blur on the "claw?" and focus on the warrior.

I guess thats all i though of for the main character and his weapon :D
