Glass2 with Bubbles

Postby Glendaloch » Thu Apr 29, 2010 7:06 am

The lettering is a mix of rough glass and gold (metal). Wondering is there a way to stencil the gold lettering on (with a bump map as well for relief) with an image map? This would be both easier and neater.

Have looked at this thread but still can't work it out or sure if it is possible:

Really really nice. Maybe needs a little more SPP.

Hi,

Those renders are just gorgeous, especially the first one, the second has really nice caustics though.

There was a thread somewhere on this forum which I can't find. It gave the following link to the Indigo forum for this basic light set up :

Tried this on a few different renderers. They all come out slightly different (obviously), the light bleeding or emitting upward in varying ways.
