This thread is a place to put demo scenes that others can use to learn how to do things. So a simple scene demonstrating say the mix material, or how to use volumes, etc.
The scenes can be any form you want - ie a blend file, 3ds, whatever, just follow the guidelines further down. Ideally they should be plug 'n play so all textures should be included (make sure they're not copyright!). A .lxs file should also be included.
If the next few posts seem a bit confusing it's because this thread started out as a request for a central repository, and ended up becoming it

It occurred to me that it would be quite useful to have some demo scenes for people to download and look at - like simple scenes that demonstrate the use of mix materials, mediums, lights, etc. Might save a bit of work in the forums and would be a quick way for people to get up and running.
I know there are some test scenes around but might be useful to have a more direct link (from homepage? in wiki? set up like the gallery?). Would need to know what version of lux the scene is compatible with, and other parameters (blender version, luxblend version, etc).
Not sure how much space it would take up or even if it's worth the effort but figured i'd ask and see what everyone else thought.
