Wave–particle duality

Are we going to be able to simulate this in the future ?

that would require many teraflops i think.


I only know that maxwell render can not do this, they did try some years ago.

Hi,

There's currently no plan to support this, at least not in a general way. In practice, having a general solution to this kind of problem wouldn't be required, it's only required on a local scale to be able to simulate some very special materials and in those cases ad hoc simplifications can give you convincing enough results.
