This thread is intended to be a place holder to collect ideas and links for the process of building a archive of content for the 0.6 release.

For the time being I was going to build it up on my website as I have ok hosting and several gig free, unless someone has a better idea? I am planning on testing each piece of content and checking the license etc and then placing it in a work in progress archive.

I also plan on trying to render a few charts for the wiki page etc, redo the .nk chart, a chart of a selection of IES lights, etc, or maybe its better to do a series of thumb nails ?

Right now I am testing a few of the viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1165 HDRi studio maps, I intend to convert them all to EXR and place them on my site.

Collecting some example scenes in the same folder may be useful, too ?
At least, cornell box, suzanne, luxball...

Hey,

One thing i'd like to say is that I would'nt include generic stuff in this archive.
Stuff like textures and LDR environment maps.

We need to keep the download size fairly small. (Don't go over 80MB or so).

The point of the archive is to supply stuff that is difficult to find elsewhere,
so a few reference/diverse true HDR maps for universal use,
and practical stuff like nkdata, other measured spectra and IES files should be good.
