Hi,

I usually download the latest Blender builds from Graphicall.org.
Unfortunately seems like the builds for Luxrender are very outdated for this site.
Should we consider to update them?

Graphicall builds with luxrender are usually out of date after my experience. Nothing unusual - but give the builders some time and I'm sure there will be some builds with 1.2 soon.

If you're referring to the "LuxRender" section, it hasn't really been used much in awhile. I posted the Mac weeklies there for awhile. Might be better if I went back to that, tbh.

Yes, exactly.
I suppose that graphicall.org is a good showcase to promote this software.

Improved support for blender smoke? How's that possible if heterogenous volumes are broken in core? I'm skeptical but intrigued. Would like to see an example...

The smoke refers to the new smoke + fire simulation in blender.

Hi,

A new v1.2.1 version is available to fix last minute issues, go get it from the download page.

Fixes since v1.2 (luxrender and luxblend):
- incorrect rendering of architectural glass with bidirectional path tracing
- broken motion blur export with Blender 2.66
- imaging pipeline inconsistencies with Blender 2.66
