Hi,
I'm a newbie. My name is Aleš. I enjoy doing VFX, Movies, etc. ... I work in Cinema 4D.Today I discovered LuxRender and I really like it.
I have a few questions:

1.After exporting from Cinema 4D, not my scene texture.
2.It uses the GPU or CPU, or a hybrid?

Thank you!

Good luck with this render! ;)

Hi!

1) you should probably direct to the exporters->C4D subforum
2) Yes, Lux dev version (0.8dev branch, not 0.7.1) uses both cpu and gpu when using the hybrid renderer (which is not fully functional yet). You can also try the Core->GPU forum to check out the testbench app, SLG (SmallLuxGPU), that supports all three combinations. SLG is far less advanced than Lux when it comes to materials and other features - its mostly for testing out GPU/OpenCL stuff/ideas, but it's quite nice alone too - if your requirements aren't very advanced and you're prepared to dig into experimental and little documented stuff.
