I'm happy to help with this if I can.

My computers aren't anything special unfortunately, just an intel i7 desktop and a laptop, each several years old, that I've used for luxrender network rendering with the classic api in Blender. Both systems run Xubuntu.

Count me in for testing!

My system consits of a Ryzen 1700X cpu, nVidia GTX 1070 gpu and 16GB of memory. I am running Manjaro Linux with propietary video drivers.

Ubuntu 18.10

Desktop(gonna be a few weeks before I can get it out of storage);
AMD FX-8150
AMD Radeon R9-290X
Going to reformat with Manjaro KDE when I get it

Also, since we're talking about a reboot, can we please bring back the contests? The Lux community was always a little "happy place" for me online and that was a huge part of it.

I thought about that, too, but I think we have to wait until we release the first public version so we have enough people participating.
