- lens effects can now be configured from the scene file

Hi,

I think there is an issue with the above stated new feature.

I'm using 64bit OpenCL version for windows, togheter with Blender, and i'm unable to export glare maps correctly.
I can read the following in the console:

[2013-10-27 16:33:13 Warning: 0] Parameter 'glare_lashes_filename' not used
[2013-10-27 16:33:13 Warning: 0] Parameter 'glare_pupil_filename' not used

I've attached a test scene for your consideration.

I also reported on Mantis

glare.zip
(193.18 KiB) Downloaded 199 times

glare.blend
(87.12 KiB) Downloaded 199 times

Where are the mapfiles for proper testing ????

EDIT; Found issue anyway, fix follows in 10 minutes.....

Edit2: Fixed in luxblend25 changeset 2207 1978509fd5f8

I'm building and installing luxrender as a system install, but it becomes a bit of a mess when using from within blender. It expects to find luxrender in the same place as the render output directory, which just doesn't work when installed to /usr/bin

Does the blender API provide a way to add a field to User Preferences -> File Paths to specify where to locate luxrender binaries? (or any other luxrender paths that may need to be configured?)

I'm pretty sure that the path to the lux directory is a setting in the addon preferences for luxblend

I've been knocked out all last week by some flu, so unfortunately haven't had the energy to do the installers. They're high up on my todo list.

Ah, sneaky. I had never seen (or noticed) an addon tuck settings in that area before. Thanks.

Yeah, its really useful as Lux isnt in the same spot on my laptop vs desktop (or other peoples) so now when I open a scene, I don't have to adjust the path each time :)
