I see that now pylux library is included in the luxblend folder directly. I used to have materials preview problems ;)
The luxrender path in the user settings instead of in the .blend file makes things easier when I work with different computers.

great news and great development! :)

I've tested some new features and I have a problem with the new filter Blackman-Harris.
If I choice it, in the luxrender log I have this

[2013-08-18 10:56:03 Error: 14] Static loading of filter 'blackmanharris' failed.
[2013-08-18 10:56:03 Severe error: 14] Unable to create scene due to missing plug-ins

Are there some render settings I have to choice to have it works??

Thanks in advance

This means the build you use misses 'blackmanharris' in the corelib aka not build with the actual sources.
Would be nice to know what OS you are talking about ;) , so the maintainer can fix and reupload ...

Shoot I just noticed myself. Hm I managed to screw up something then, I could have sworn I tested that before I released.

I'll rebuild and repackage just to be sure. Check back in a couple of hours.

Hi,

I'm experiencing an app crash when exiting the Luxrender GUI.
At the moment, I'm able to reproduce the crash only with a single, quite complex, scene.
However the crash is the same on two different machines.
I'm on windows 7 64 and this is the crash report:

Do you use the x64 versions of LuxRender? If so, could you please zip up the minidump file and PM it to me? You'll find the path to the minidump file (c:\path\something.dmp) if you click on the "show additional info" or whatever it says on the crash dialog. This would allow me to get an idea of where it crashed and perhaps the circumstances.
