Luxrender 1.0RC1 won't start from Blender 2.63

I just installed the latest Blender and Luxrender versions, I can add Luxrender to Blender, but luxrender.exe is not launched even though I set the path in the exporter. I can run the exe manually, so I think it is not a compatibility problem. Did I miss something in the installation procedure?

You are trying to render using "external" mode, and the "run renderer" checkbox is enabled?

Did you make sure to set the path to the directory, not the file?

If that's ok, please see if there's any errors in the console, enable it by going to Help -> Toggle System Console.
May contain traces of nuts.

Thank you for this hint. External and 'run renderer' are checked. But when starting the render, there is always an error message :Export aborted: 'Mesh' object has no attribute 'faces'. I tried this with Blender sample scenes and the luxball scene with the same result.

You're using an outdated version of LuxBlend25 exporter which wasn't updated for Blender API changes in version 2.63. Reinstall LuxBlend25 from Lux 1.0RC1 distribution or from the repository, this should fix your problem.

Thank you! I didn't run an outdated version though. I wanted to be up to date and installed the Luxblend26 dev version that comes with 1.0RC. I did a re-install with Luxblend25 and now it works.
